Connection matters more than people think. You're going to spend real time with your photographer, sometimes in vulnerable or emotional moments. That's why personality matters. I want my clients to feel comfortable and fully themselves in front of my camera. That's part of why I always suggest a quick call before booking, not just for logistics, but to make sure we actually vibe. Your comfort shows up in your photos, every time.
Budget matters, but so does experience. I truly understand being mindful of cost. But hiring a professional means more than paying for a few hours of shooting. You're investing in creative direction and real experience, professional gear and editing, backup systems that protect your images, and someone who can guide you through the whole process, start to finish.
